Customize Accepts Marketing feature in Shopify

Today, I received a request from the client. The client requirements check “Accepts Marketing” option because it’s not working.

Website of my client have “Accepts Marketing” option in Register page. When registering if the customer choose this option, the email of customer will add to email subscription list

After researches but not effective because code is correct. Team leader suggests to check in Settings in the Admin page of website. And I have found reason in here.

In custom Checkout page, Order processing section you need to choose the corresponding option at Collecting consent to send promotional emails to customers from your store.
