Shopify Merchants Can Now Sell On Their Twitter

Twitter has just released an official Shopify app. It’s called Twitter. This Shopify app allows you to put your products directly in front of your customers on Twitter, but manage it entirely within Shopify. You can connect with an audience already following you and engaged with your brand.


With this app, merchants can sync their product catalogs and seamlessly showcase up to 50 products. When buyers tap on a product, they are taken to a merchant-hosted product detail page where they can learn more and make purchases.

With Twitter Shopping, you can surface your most impactful products directly on your profile in a Shop Spotlight or Twitter Shop. A Shop Spotlight is an always-on window shopping experience that supports up to 5 products; while a Twitter Shop is a fully-immersive and customizable virtual storefront that supports up to 50.

The new Shopify X Twitter sales channel will also help you reach new, enthusiastic customers who are excited to discuss your products.

Note: The Twitter sales channel is only available to merchants who have stores located in the United States.
