Shopify Local Delivery app is shutting down on Jan 16, 2023

As of January 16, 2023, according to a recent release, the Shopify Local Delivery app will no longer be available.

The Shopify Local Delivery app is known as makes delivering local orders by you or your staff more efficient. The app can be used from the Shopify admin or from the Shopify mobile app.

Shopify does not offer an alternative and only suggests that you look for an alternative route optimization app from 3rd party applications in the Shopify App Store.

Shopify has recently published a plethora of new e-commerce support apps, such as Shopify Translate & Adapt, Shopify Forms, Shopify Search & Discovery, etc. There are, however, several apps that Shopify is no longer available, such as Oberlo, Shopify Store Importer, and most recently, Shopify Local Delivery.
