Shopify has introduced “Hydrogen” – React-based frameworks for building custom storefronts for your Shopify store. Custom storefronts is an example of a headless commerce model, where the front end and backend are independent of each other. Other models like CRM, CMS, ERP, etc., require integration between the front end and back end.
