How To Add A Custom Font To Your Shopify Store Using Fontify App
As you know, fonts have a great influence on the aesthetics and professionalism of your website. If you’re owning an E-commerce site, you will understand the importance of how your store looks like. Do you still have difficulties with the font installation process or simply you are busy with something else? You can review this article, I will show you how to add a custom font to your Shopify store by Fontify app? Your store will look much better and attract more customers as a result. This app will import any font you uploaded and process it to make it work in your store. You only need to choose your font, select the elements which you want to use for it… and you’re done.
To download this app you must first log in to the Shopify apps store. Search for the Fontify app and tap Add app > Install App. Or you can download it by clicking the Install icon above.
You can choose an existing Google font or upload your custom font. After that, just assign to your element (h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, p, custom class….)
Note: Each line indicates one CSS element. You don’t need to use any CSS.
This snippet code to apply the font to all sites, don’t miss tick on Overwrite other fonts.
If you want the font will the priority highest on your site, tick the box Overwrite other fonts. Or if you want to apply the font for each device type, you can tick one of the two options Apply for desktop only and Apply for mobile-only. This application has many languages for you to customize. You can select one language to apply, or if you want to select multiple languages, you can hold Control or Command. Remember to activate the application after installation.
Notice: The fonts will not show in the Theme Customizer, it only shows in the app. If you want to uninstall the app, please remove all the fonts first before uninstall and your store will back to the original.
